Kurt is old-school CRCA, joining the club while in high school. He has raced at a very high level, including being a member of the Breakaway Courier team, and has worked as a New York City bicycle messenger. His experience and calm demeanor mean he's seldom surprised in races -- he's seen almost everything before.

Kurt lives in Brooklyn near the foot of the Manhattan Bridge.
